How Many Squats a Day to Get a Bigger Bum and thigh?
So on average 20 to 100 body weight squats a day is what you need to grow your bum and thigh.
However, if you are using weight, you should limit the number to 15 or 20, but if decide to go higher in your repetition, try not exceed 30reps per day.
The lower your reps with weight the better it is for muscle growth as longs you are using a weight that is heavy enough to challenge your muscle while completing the last few reps.
And you should also know that, you really don’t have to perform the entire 20 to 100 squat in one set.
You can split them up to meet your specific strength or your schedule.
For example you can do things like 10reps for 1st set, 10 for 2nd set and 20 3rd set, etc.
How many squat should a beginner do for bigger butt?
As a beginner I suggest you do 20 to 50 body weight squats in a day to master the move and your squatting form before aiming for higher reps.
Or even attempting to incorporate weights like dumbbell of barbell to your squatting.
And that leads us to the next question.
When should I start using weight to squat?
This will be different for different individuals.
In my experience the best time to start using weight for your squat is whenever a 5o or 100 squat does not make your butt muscle feel challenged when completing the last 8 to 5reps.
Then you should start using weight, but before you make this decision try out other challenging squat variation before moving to weight.
How many squat should an advance do for bigger butt? (Also for Intermediates)
If you can perform 50 to 100 bodyweight squats with correct form and still not feel an intense burn on your butt and thighs, then you need to start adding weight to your training or start performing a more advance squatting moves.
Then you can reduce your squat reps to 20 using a weight that will still challenge your butt muscle and burn it out before completing the last 3 reps
This applies to both advance and intermediate.
How much weight should a woman squat?
To me don’t think is for ladies to go so heavy on squats, an average of 150 to 200 pounds is what I recommend for women.
But you can go very heavy on other glute targeted workout like hip thrust to grow the butt even bigger.
Please note that is will be different for individuals based on natural strength. I will advise, you try various weight selections and to see what works for you.
